H.E. Minister of Finance Mr. Nodar Khaduri proposed a new candidate to H.E. Prime Minister of Georgia Mr. Irakli Gharibashvili for the position of the Head of Georgian Revenue Service (GRS) - a legal entity of public law (LEPL) on February 7, 2014.
Up until today, Mr. Irakli Gvaramadze was working as a Head of the Tax Dispute Department at the GRS subordinated to the Ministry of Finance.
Former Head of the GRS Mr. Lasha Khutsishvili, originally appointed in January 2013, has been promoted to the position of the Deputy Minister of Finance. Nomination for the promotion has been made by Minister Khaduri to Prime Minister Gharibashvili.
Line management of Mr. Lasha Khutsishvili will be the Tax Policy Department and LEPL Financial Analysis Service of the Ministry of Finance. At the same time, he will serve as a Deputy Chairman of the Dispute Resolution Council of the Ministry of Finance.
H.E. Prime Minister of Georgia signed both appointment orders today.
