H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia attended the official launch of a Tbilisi Medical University Clinic together with his fellow Government Members and Tbilisi Mayor on March 25, 2015. Clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to perform various lab, radiology diagnostics and high technology medical research. Its current capacity is 185 beds. H.E. Irakli Gharibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia was offered a tour around the Clinic.
Minister of Finance of Georgia took part in another event today. Namely, he attended a Research and Innovations Council Meeting, chaired by H.E. Irakli Gharibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia at the University Clinic. Meeting was attended by H.E. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, H.E. Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science.
«Ministries received individual instruction to establish work groups to scrutinise the ideas for developing science and technologies in future, inter alia for their commercialization» noted Minister Khaduri.
Research and Innovations Council was established with a Government Decree and it comprises officials from the executive and legislative authorities, celebrity Georgian scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs.
