On July 16, 2018, Ivane Matchavariani held the first working meeting as the Minister of Finance.

He discussed the important processes of the functioning of the Ministry system with the Deputy Ministers and got acquainted with the details of ongoing reforms. The Minister of Finance underscored the importance of successful implementation of reforms defined by the government program and the role of the Ministry of Finance in this direction.
