H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia will participate in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WBG) on April 9-17, 2023.

High-level meetings are planned within the scope of the visit at the US Departments of State and Commerce, US Treasury, international financial institutions (IFIs) and various donor agencies

The Minister of Finance will meet Antonella Bassani, Vice President of the World Bank; Bo Lee, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund. Bilateral negotiations will also be held within the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), rating and investment agencies.

Lasha Khutsishvili is scheduled to speak at a high-level panel discussion on Overcoming Global Risks - Development of State Debt Management Capabilities.

Minister will be accompanied by the Giorgi Kakauridze, First Deputy Minister of Finance and Deputy Ministers of Finnce Ekaterine Guntsadze and Mirza Gelashvili.
