H.E> Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia met the IMF Mission visiting the country.

During the working-format meeting, the parties reviewed the economic situation of the past and current years, the key parameters of the 2025 budget, medium-term macroeconomic and fiscal indicators, and the government’s economic reform program.

The discussion emphasized the importance of meetings planned during the mission, and the parties extended their best wishes for a successful working mission.

Representing the Georgian side at the meeting were Deputy Ministers of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze and Ekaterine Guntsadze, Department Head for Macroeconomic Analysis and Fiscal Policy Planning Vakhtang Chalapeikrishvili, and Department Head for the Fiscal Risk Management Shota Gunia.
