Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia will be headed by Irakli Beraia. H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia introduced the new chief to the employees of the Investigation Service today.
The Minister highlighted the crucial role of the Investigation Service in combating economic and financial crimes and expressed confidence that under the new leadership, the agency will continue to operate effectively in ensuring economic security and development.
He also thanked the former head of the service, Soso Ramishvili, for his leadership and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The newly appointed head of the Investigation Service, Irakli Beraia, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance for their trust. He emphasized that the fight against financial and economic crimes, corruption schemes and maintaining fiscal discipline will remain the top priorities of the service.
