H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia met Antonella Bassani, Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia within the framework of the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings.

The discussion focused on the partnership between Georgia and the World Bank, the country’s macroeconomic indicators, as well as current and medium-term investment projects and reforms.

The Minister of Finance thanked the Vice President for the World Bank’s contribution to the country’s development and for the continued cooperation in financing priority sectors.

The meeting was also attended by Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus; Deputy Ministers of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze and Ekaterine Guntsadze; and Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vakhtang Tsintsadze.
