H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia and H.E. Natia Turnava, Governor of the National Bank of Georgia met Matteo Patrone, Vice President of the EBRD for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus within the framework of the 34th Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
The meeting was also attended by Elisabetta Falcetti, EBRD Managing Director for Turkey and the Caucasus; Alkis Vryenios Drakinos, EBRD Regional Director for the Caucasus; and Tamas Vojnits, Director of the EBRD Constituency Group representing Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia, the Slovak Republic and Georgia.
On the Georgian side, Deputy Minister of Finance Ekaterine Guntsadze and Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Irakli Nadareishvili participated in the meeting.
The Georgian delegation briefed the EBRD Vice President on the country's fiscal and monetary policies, as well as the agenda of planned reforms.
Dignitaries reviewed the EBRD-supported projects in Georgia, particularly in the private sector.
The meeting emphasized the importance of the partnership between Georgia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
