The Minister of Finance, Ivane Matchavariani held an introductory meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia Patrick Francen.

The parties focused on the need to further deepening Georgian-Swiss trade-economic relations on the meeting.

The discussion touched upon the possibility of attracting new investments between the two countries in various sectors, further development of cooperation and sharing of experience in infrastructure, agriculture, tourism and vocational education.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness to make maximum contribution to strengthening Georgian-Swiss cooperation.
