The Minister of Finance and The Ambassador of France discussed the Cooperation issues between two countries



The Minister of Finance of Georgia, Ivane Matchavariani held an introductory meeting in Georgia with the newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Republic of France, Diego Colas.

The parties discussed the cooperation issues between two countries, the ongoing urban development, agriculture and rural development, energy, vocational education and governance programs implemented with support of AFD.

The parties discussed about the investment directions, which are important for economic cooperation of Georgia and France. During discussion about importance of bilateral partnership, Ivane Matchavariani thanked the guest for funding the prioritized projects for the country and hoped that the cooperation will continue in future as well.

On other hands, the new ambassador of France expressed the readiness to continue partnership with Georgia in terms of supporting programs considered under the agenda of economic reforms.
