H.E. Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia met H.E. Massimiliano D’Antuono, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Georgia.
The meeting was also attended by Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia; Fabiola Albanese, Deputy Head of Mission and Elisa Leoni, Embassy official.
The parties reviewed cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic areas. The discussion touched upon Georgia’s economic growth indicators in recent years and other macroeconomic parameters.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening partnerships between business representatives of the two countries, and special attention was given to transit and energy projects of regional significance with Georgian engagement.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further promote and deepen economic and sectoral cooperation between Georgia and Italy.
