Inventory of the information assets of the ministry and determining the access permissions together with proper structural units;

Protection of the information assets of the Ministry;

Management of the weaknesses in the infrastructure of information processing;

Management of risks and threats that may affect the information resources of the Ministry;

Preparation of safety policy, procedures and standards and ensuring adequate utilization of information resources through them;

Presenting the staff their responsibilities in regard with information protection;

Preparation of reports, meeting minutes and agendas for the Council of Information Security;
